The Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program expanded into the southern part of the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region at the Genesee Valley BOCES in Mount Morris, Livingston County.
Three advanced manufacturing businesses across the region selected five students from the Mount Morris BOCES for job shadows and paid co-ops. To watch a recording of the event, please click here.
FLYAP collaborates with every BOCES and Career and Technical Education high school throughout the city of Rochester and nine-county Finger Lakes Region. To date, more than 120 students have signed up for FLYAP.
Now in its third year, the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program has placed dozens of recent high school graduates in careers and apprenticeships in advanced manufacturing. You can find out more on FLYAP at www.FLYAP.org.
