Key Skills
- Strong math skills, English to metric unit conversion, fraction to decimal conversion, and basic geometry and trigonometry
- Comfortable with computers
- Multi tasking is essential
- Some level of self confidence
- Good communication verbal and written
- Ability to work with your hands (mechanical aptitude)
- Focus on machines and processes required to repair and build jigs, fixtures and tools
- Precise machining, attention to detail, troubleshooting and problem solving
- Knowledge of tools: wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, vice grips, and other hand tools
- Can follow written instructions and drawings
- Ability to measure using a ruler and/or tape measure, using micrometers, or using other measuring tools is a bonus

- Some degree of self confidence, likes to work independently, likes working with hands, good communication skills
- Likes video games, likes making things at home or in school, immediate satisfaction
