Key Skills

  • Strong math skills, English to metric unit conversion, fraction to decimal conversion, and basic geometry and trigonometry
  • Comfortable with computers

  • Attention to detail, precision and detail orientated
  • Knowledge of tools: wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, vice grips, and other hand tools
  • Focus on equipment, process and inspection for precision optics mfg.
  • Strong self confidence, as sometimes will have to deal directly with customer
  • Ability to measure using a ruler and/or tape measure, using micrometers, or using other measuring tools is a bonus
