September 15, 2021

RTMA Director of Workforce Development Rich Turner presented the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program to the Monroe County School Boards Association at its September meeting.  Dozens of school superintendents, board members and administrators joined the meeting in-person and on Zoom to learn about FLYAP.  FLYAP is entering its third year and has matched more than 100 high school students to job shadows and paid co-ops at dozens of companies in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes regions.
